Just like in 2018, Netflix is the undisputed winner of 2019 with the most good shows of the year. HBO as usual is in second place. Also with strong showings are The CW, FX, Adult Swim, Amazon Prime and Hulu. Here are the best shows I watched in 2019 separated by network. I will reveal my favorite TV show of the year at the end. The Mandalorian
The Disney+ series The Mandalorian chronicled the exploits of a bounty hunter instead of focusing on the Jedi and it expanded the Star Wars universe in new and interesting ways with a mysterious story and a cast of characters that were intriguing enough to keep you coming back for more when Disney+ released a new episode every Friday. The series never ceases to be mesmerizing, even if you are not a Star Wars fan.
Next blog I reveal the best movies of 2019.
